PERSONALITY closes my eyes. i'll do this properly later but for now: this and this are the vibes. he's unflinching, unruffled, and he's seen enough shit by now that there's not a lot that can faze him. but the main takeaway for akira's personality is that beneath the silliness, he has steadfastly held onto his kindness and empathy despite everything he's been through. he's rebellious, yes; he's stubborn, absolutely, but he can't stand and watch someone suffering in front of him and not do something about it. he cares about people, sometimes to his own detriment, but he understands what it's like to not have any support when dealt an awful hand, and how life-changing it can be to have it. under the head-empty facade, he's very introspective, adaptable, and observant, which makes it easier for him to be what the people around him need him to be. his loyalty to his friends is unshakeable, and it's returned in equal measure as a result. as of strikers, he's just here to vibe and enjoy his summer vacation... except he has to knife fight a god. again.
